Get a fun and active experience in nature on our MTB intro course, which gives you the basic skills. We offer MTB for everyone with an intro for you who want to try MTB for the first time or have had a few rides. No special prerequisites are needed other than curiosity and good energy. If you just want to rent equipment for a MTB ride on your own, you are also welcome – you can do it here !
THIS IS HOW A MTB INTRO COURSE GOES
The course starts with a small introduction to the use and handling of MTB and safety with setting the bike to suit you. From the pickup place we cycle into the forest, from where the teaching takes place. You will have plenty of time to get used to the MTB activity and try out the bike and its capabilities. In the forest, you are introduced to braking techniques, so you can control your speed with simple means. Gear shift with a focus on finding the right gear for the terrain. Basic position will be reviewed so that you will be able to move safely and securely in more demanding terrain. The course focuses on creating a safe and comfortable introduction to the MTB sport, so you get the best experiences in a safe and secure way.

The intro course enables you to move more safely on MTB in nature. The course takes place in scenic surroundings from Lolland and Falster’s best spots at Naturpark Maribosøerne, Bangsebroskoven or Hamborgskoven. You get a fun and active experience close to nature that can sharpen your presence and strengthen the community with friends or family. SAFE CONDITIONS PROVIDES THE BEST EXPERIENCE
In the winter, we are based at Ny Kirstineberg Gods B&B , where you will be given a MTB and helmet. There are toilet facilities where you have the opportunity to change clothes. Today’s lesson takes place in a safe and secure environment, where conditions such as choice of terrain and the participants’ ability are taken into account, so you are guaranteed the best MTB experience. The activities are carried out primarily with cycling on gravel roads, wide forest paths and pieces of less demanding terrain, which provides optimal conditions for trips and beginner courses. It is a requirement to wear a helmet. If you do not have one yourself, you can borrow one from us. It may be a good idea to bring water and snacks.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT WITH US…
Your course is planned in relation to wind and weather as well as participants’ prerequisites and is therefore conducted at the most suitable spot, depending on the circumstances. Coordination of activities and location can therefore occur until the day before, no later than 12 hours before the start of the course.
NOTE! Booking closes 12 hours before the appointment starts. Upon check-in, you will be given a MTB and helmet. The course is completed with a number of participants of at least 6 participants – from 10 years. You are made aware that participation in the MTB course is at your own risk, however, the activities are of course adapted to your level. All accidents are covered by your own insurance.
CANCELLATION & REBOOKING POLICY
Services that are weather dependent may be canceled by the organizer at short notice. It is at all times the organizer who decides whether the weather is suitable for the booked activity. In case of cancellation or rebooking by the organizer, you as a customer always have the opportunity to be rebooked or refunded free of charge – regardless of the time of notification. We only cancel activities where conditions prevent the implementation of activities in a safe manner. You are always guaranteed a good and safe experience with us!
